These are the studio's actual booking rules — the same ones the calendar uses.
How long will my appointment take?
A Signature Gel Manicure takes 60 minutes and Gel Extensions take 90. Existing gel removal adds 15 minutes, simple nail art adds 15, and detailed nail art adds 30. Consultation time is already included. Your exact treatment time is shown before you confirm — a Signature Gel Manicure with removal and simple art, for example, is 90 minutes.
Do I need to book removal?
Only if you're currently wearing gel that needs soaking off. Tick 'existing gel removal' and the price goes up by $15 and the appointment by 15 minutes. If you're unsure, add it — it's better than running out of time.
How does the deposit work?
A $25 deposit confirms your appointment and comes off your total, so the rest is paid at the studio. In this fictional studio the deposit is a clearly labelled simulation: no card details are collected and no money moves.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, from the private link in your confirmation. 24 hours or more before your appointment you can move it yourself and your existing deposit transfers to the new time — no second payment. Inside 24 hours the time can't be moved; cancelling is still possible, but the deposit is kept and a new appointment needs a new deposit.
What if my preferred time is full?
Join the waitlist with your treatment, the dates that work and the part of the day you prefer. When someone cancels or moves, the studio checks who is waiting, whether the released time actually fits their treatment plus cleanup, and offers it to the first person it suits. The offer is held for up to 15 minutes and is claimed with the normal $25 deposit.
What if I'm running late, or I don't turn up?
Message Maya if you're running late — the treatment may need shortening so the next client isn't pushed back. Missed appointments keep the deposit, the same as a cancellation inside 24 hours.
Booking & deposit policy
- · Appointments can be booked up to 30 days ahead, with at least 2 hours' notice.
- · Start times sit on a 15-minute grid inside opening hours, Pacific Time.
- · A $25 simulated deposit confirms the booking and is credited to your treatment.
- · Cancel or move 24 hours or more ahead: the deposit is returned, or transferred to your new time.
- · Cancel inside 24 hours: the appointment is released and the deposit is retained. A later change counts as a cancellation plus a new booking.
- · Released times are offered to the waitlist automatically, in the order people joined, and only to someone the opening actually fits.
